Clinton Thomas Lineberry, the son of Rennie Clinton and Mary Elizabth (Brooks) Lineberry, was born September 21, 1943, in southwestern Virginia. As a young boy, Clint moved often throughout the United States with his family for his father's career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. After high school Clint attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie where he was the first in his family to attain his degree in Animal Science in 1967.

After college, he and his family were volunteers with the Peace Corps in the Philippines for two years. Upon returning to the United States, Clint began a thirty year career with the United States Department of Agriculture, working as a meat grader and traveling throughout the U.S. before settling in rural Westfield. On July 15, 1983, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Rodvold in Sioux City, IA. Having a love of rodeo and ranching, Clint, along with his brother-in-law Marvin Rodvold formed the Diamond Bar Cattle Company. His dream turned reality, teaching and guiding many friends and family the cowboy way, as the ranch life suited him and Marilyn for many years.

Upon retirement, Clint resided peacefully back in "The Hollow" with Marilyn until recently moving to Akron. Clint was a member of New Horizons United Church of Christ in Akron.  He loved working cattle, breaking horses, attending PBR rodeos with lifelong friends Sam, Kirk, and Frank and enjoyed many trips with Marilyn to West River, SD where they enjoyed camping and fishing.

Clint is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his four children; Cole Lineberry of Akron, IA; Dakota Samuel of Raleigh, NC; Kim Neher (Joe Fontenot) of Stanwood, IA; Kodi (Jason) Lockey of Albuquerque, NM; his grandchildren Myles & Chance Lineberry; Luke Lineberry; Jasmine & Ethan Samuel; Jacob & Hannah Neher and Kinnick Fontenot; Logan Lockey and great granddaughter Amberly Lineberry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rennie and Elizabeth Lineberry; son, Justin Lineberry and sister Janice Williams.
