Deb McGuire, 72, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Nov 2, 2023, at her home in Le Mars.

Deb was born in Pender NE, the daughter of Jud and Shirley (Ring) Garwood.  She was raised in Sioux City, IA and Omaha, NE.  Graduating from Omaha Burke High School and later attended Wayne State College.

Deb was a member of the United Methodist Church and Friends of the Library.  She would like to be remembered for her love for her family, grandkids, nature, her flower garden and her cats.

She is survived by her daughter, Megan McGuire Sollee of Severance, CO, and her children, Ashton Sollee and Quinn Sollee; her mother, Shirley (Ring) Garwood of Brookings SD; her sister, Amy (Garwood) Henrich of White Lake, SD, and her 3 children, Shane, Mikayla, Colin; her brother, Bruce (Angela) Garwood of McKinney TX and their 3 sons, Judson, Chris, James

She was preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents, her father Glen "Judson" Garwood and her companion of 15 years, Micael Lacy of Seneca MO.
