Dennis Kroll , 69, of rural Westfield, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his home.

Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars.  Reverend Jan Christensen from the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars will officiate.  Visitation with the family present will be from 6:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.  Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com .

Dennis Paul Kroll was born June 3, 1952, the son of Harry and Ruth (Kelsheimer) Kroll.  Early on, he lived near Cushing, Iowa before moving with his family to a farm near Westfield, Iowa.  He attended school in Westfield and then helped his father on the farm.

He married Rhonda Carlson in 1979.  To this union, 4 children were born: Michelle, Joshua, Joseph, and Jacob.  Dennis continued farming near Westfield.  He also worked in maintenance in Sioux City and later in Sioux Center, Iowa until his retirement.

He enjoyed having coffee with his friends and family.  Most of all, he loved life on the farm.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; 4 children: Michelle Lubben, Joshua Kroll, Joseph Kroll, and Jacob Kroll; 8 grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (Gary) Clark and Marilyn Kroll; and several other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings: Arlene, Colleen, Harry Jr., and Michael.
