Dennis A. Rozell, 76 of Akron, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Akron Care Center in Akron, Iowa.

Visitation with the family present will be from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron.

Dennis Arlo Rozell was born on October 29, 1946 to Arlo and Wilma (Reemts) Rozell. He grew up on the family farm in Union County, SD and attended school in Akron, Iowa.

Dennis was a life long farmer in rural Akron, South Dakota.

Dennis enjoyed farming and spending time taking care of his horses. He was a long time member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron.

Dennis is survived by his brother, David (Suzie) Rozell of Akron; brother in law, Al Hoepner; nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Hoepner.
