Donna Moran, 94 of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Society of Le Mars.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at All Saints Parish – St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation with the family present will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service and Rosary at 7:00 p.m., all on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. Donna Fay Ann Hanno was born on February 8, 1929 to Earl and Ceclia (Diekman) Hanno in Remsen, Iowa. She attended school in Remsen and then went on to receive her degree as an x-ray technician from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Eugene 'Gus' Moran on September 28, 1949. They made their home in Le Mars where Donna stayed home for short time before working at Sacred Heart Hospital in Le Mars. They then moved to Algona, Iowa where she worked in retail. They later to retired to Le Mars and Donna worked for 'Tots and Teens'. Gus passed away on July 27, 2019.

Donna was a member of All Saints Catholic Parish in Le Mars. She loved to garden and grow flowers.

Survivors include her children: Tom (Lilly) Moran of Kennewick, WA, Marilyn (Dave) Wells of Le Mars, IA, Dan Moran of Indianola, IA, and Lisa Moran of North Sioux City, SD; 4 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gus; and a daughter in infancy: Julie Moran; and her siblings: Dr. James Hanno, Darlene Douvia, and Phyllis Wendt.
