Donna Marie Jones, 93, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, formerly of Westfield, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Ava's Hospice House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Memorial Services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron. Chaplain Paula Damon from Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Visitation with the family present will be from 3:00 p.m. until service time and following the service during a time of fellowship, all at the funeral home. Donna Marie Huebner, the daughter of Albert and Minnie Johana (Ludwigs) Huebner, was born on December 19, 1932, in Akron, Iowa. Early on, she and family lived on a farm near Chatsworth, Iowa. She attended country school and later high school in Hawarden. When she was a freshman, she moved with her family to Westfield, Iowa. She graduated from Westfield High School.

Donna was united in marriage to Duane Murdock Jones on June 10, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron. Donna and Duane made their home on the family farm in rural Westfield. Donna was a homemaker for her family. She also worked as a cook for the Akron Care Center for several years. They lived on the farm until they moved to Sioux Falls in 2015. Duane passed away on May 1, 2018.

Donna and Duane attended many auctions and farm sales. For 13 years, they would travel several times a year to Texas to sell antique, primitive, and refurbished farm pieces. They loved going to and selling at the flea markets and visiting with customers. Donna was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron. Donna also enjoyed gardening and camping.

Survivors include her children: Dan (Niki) Jones of Salix, IA, Darla (Curt) Otten of Tea, SD, Deann Jones of Sioux Falls, SD, David Jones of Manvel, TX, and Devin Jones of Tea, SD; grandchildren: Chad  Jones, Heather (John) Hensley, Clint (Melissa) Otten, Amy Lake, Sarah (Clark) Slykhuis, and Aaron (Melissa) Otten; and great grandchildren: Chelsea, Braden, Joleigh, Hunter, Emerson, Cierra, Austin, Cayden, Tryce, Paxton, Tenley, and Ellis; a great great granddaughter, Kimber; her brother, Calvin Huebner of Hulbert, OK; and two nieces, Cheryl and Monica.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duane Jones; her sister-in-law, Jo Huebner; and a grandson in law, Justin Lake.
