Florentina "Tina" Wright, 72 of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2021 at Mercy One hospital in Sioux City, IA.

A Celebration Of Life service, with dinner to follow, is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 601 Torbert Blvd, Akron, IA, 51001.

Tina was born in Palau on July 8, 1949 to Yosko Ngiratumerang and Ngiratumerang Uchelas. She moved to LeMars, Iowa in 1986 with her husband Robert, a former naval men. While living in LeMars she worked at Good Samaritan Society. She later moved in with her daughter Melinda and they moved to Akron together in 2000.

Tina was a devoted grandmother. She enjoyed camping and fishing in various places across the Midwest. When at home, she enjoyed coloring, gardening, watching various shows and movies, and the company of her grandchildren. She later moved into the Akron Care Center where she made many friends and resided until her passing.

Tina is predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her siblings; Jerry, Melvin, Uchelas and Dorsha; her children; Melinda, Leevan and Clifford; her six grandchildren, Kristie, Kiana, Travian, Ty, CJ and Jordan; and her one great grandchild, Cadmin Lee. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
