Ina Gatts, 84, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on November 10, 2020 in Le Mars, Iowa

Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa.  Visitation with the family present will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time and following the service until noon.  Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com .

Ina was born November 30, 1935 the daughter of John H and Doris Zimmerman Johnson and graduated from Le Mars High School.  She worked for the Navy Department in Washington DC, the business and student financial office of Westmar College and was elected as Plymouth County Recorder in 1983.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children: Jason Gatts, LuAnn Gatts and John (Becky) Gatts; her grandchildren: Jordan Gatts, Logan Gatts, Jessica and Sean Streeter; and great granddaughters, Cora and Nova Streeter. Also survived by her siblings: Mary (Robert) Lykke, Lorna (James) Easton, Harley (Helene) Johnson and special friends that became family: Diane Deiterman, Karen and Roger Pfleeger.

Predeceased by her parents, an infant son, and two grandsons: Corey and John Charles Gatts.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be used for scholarships to Camp Sunnyside.

Her body was donated to science. Ina was always ready to help her friends and she will be missed.
