Jacob Rosemier, 28, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Mercy-One Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Private services will be held. Interment will be at Mountain Views Cemetery in Mesa, AZ. Expressions of sympathy may be expressed to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com.

Jacob Joseph Rosemier was born on November 9, 1995 in Mesa, Arizona to Brandy Rosemier. He spent his childhood in Arizona but later moved to Le Mars, Iowa where he attended and graduated from high school in 2013. Jake worked several jobs over the years including Tyson and Hearthside Foods in Sioux City, Iowa.

Jake was an outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with his friends and making others laugh. He always tried to make others around him happy and was always up for a new adventure. In his younger years he enjoyed playing video games, playing football, and hanging out with his friends, especially his best friend, Kaz Goliday. Jake loved dogs and he always tried to live a healthy lifestyle; Jake enjoyed weightlifting and even competed in lifting competitions.

Jake also enjoyed listening to music; he found a strong sense of peace within music, especially when he thought of his mother who he lost at a young age. His fiancé, Claudia, describes Jake as a caring, loving, and hardworking man.

Jake was recently baptized on May 5, 2024 at Sunnybrook Community Church in Sioux City.

Jake is survived by his brother, Tyler Kennett; his niece, Davina Blowers; his grandmother, Connie Ruggles; his fiancé, Claudia Rosemier; his aunt, Trish (John) McCannon and her daughters: Madison & Skylar; his aunt, Tanya (Brandyn) Doss; his uncle, Randy (Jenny) Ruggles; and many other cousins and relatives.

Jake is preceded in death by his mother, Brandy (2002); grandpa, Randy Ruggles; cousins: Chase Nunez, Randi Doss, and Jeremy Ruggles; and his childhood dog, Harley.
