Kathleen Bray, 71 of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in Le Mars, Iowa.

A private Memorial Service will be held at Rexwinkel Funeral Home. Visitation with family present will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the public is asked to wear a mask and to practice social distancing guidelines as mandated by state and federal guidelines. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to AA (Alcoholics Anonymous).

Kathleen Kay Brownmiller was born on June 10, 1948 to Cyril and Audrey (Leesley) Brownmiller in Le Mars, Iowa. Kathy grew up in Marcus and graduated from Marcus High School in 1967. After graduation, Kathy worked at Floyd Valley for seven years as a nurse's aide. Kathy was united in marriage to Eldon Bray on January 12, 1974 in Le Mars, Iowa. She later went on to receive a degree in massage therapy and worked as a massage therapist for 27 years.  She owned and operated 'A Touch Of Health' and was known for her healing hands. She retired due to her health.  She was a member of AA for 41 years. She loved to sing and play the guitar. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and fishing.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Eldon Bray; siblings: Jeanie (Merle) Wilken and Dan (LaVonne) Brownmiller all of Le Mars, IA; sisters in law: Joyce Brownmiller and Pam Brownmiller all of Le Mars; best friends, Wayne Kolbeck and Nancy; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; parents in law, Burrell and Lenora Bray; sister, Margaret (Doug) Gaul; and brothers: Jim Brownmiller and Timothy Brownmiller; sister in law, Shari (Don) Vetter; and nephew, Scott Wilken.
