Larry Richard Miller, the son of Lewis and Dorothy (Lewis) Miller, was born April 16, 1962 in Sioux City, Iowa. Early on, he grew up on farm near Decatur, Nebraska. After his father passed away unexpectedly, he moved with his family to South Sioux City, Nebraska and graduated from South Sioux City High School.

Following high school, Larry worked various jobs before starting with Goodwill Industries. He has been with Goodwill Industries for the past 24 years.

Larry enjoyed woodworking and making crafts, especially with his friends, Terry Pearson and Terry Koebernick. He could often be found riding his bike up and down Dakota Avenue. He was everyone's friend and always had a smile on his face. He will also be remembered for his sense of humor. Another of his favorite past times was going out to eat and visiting with his many friends. He was an avid fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Survivors include his brother, Jack Miller of South Sioux City, NE; his sister, Karen Davis of Williamsburg, NM; his brother-in-law, Dan Norton of Lyons, NE; two nephews: Scottie Davis of Williamsburg, NM, and Danny (Caroline) Norton of Lyons, NE, and their children, Parker Norton and Wyatt Millburg; and his faithful companion, "Dotti."

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Dorothy Miller; his sister, Rita Norton; a brother in law, Lenton Davis Jr; and a great nephew, Kelly Davis.

Larry's family would like to offer a special thanks to Joel McNaughton, Phyllis Shrader, Bill Bremer, Karen and Leonard Koch, Nancy and David Hecht, Tammi Rogers, and Jim Lane for everything you did for Larry.
