Linda Lubben, 76, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Accura HealthCare of Le Mars surrounded by her family.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church in Grant Township, rural Le Mars, Iowa. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation with the family present will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will continue until the Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. Linda Marie Sorgdrager was born on May 29, 1948 in Le Mars, Iowa, the oldest of four daughters to Warren and Mary (Gravenish) Sorgdrager. She was raised on their farm near Craig where she attended elementary and middle school. Linda graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1966. Linda began working at Central Telephone Company where she met her future husband, Dennis Lubben.

Linda and Dennis were united in marriage on September 19, 1969 at Christ Lutheran Church in rural Le Mars. Linda stayed home raising their two daughters: Julie and Lori, while the girls were young. She later went to work at State Farm, Brentwood Nursing Home, and her favorite, the Ireton Supermarket, where she worked for her sister, Sue.

After Linda and Dennis retired, they moved off the farm and into Le Mars in 2004.

Linda was a long-time member at Christ Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for several years. She and Dennis loved to travel, always exploring a new destination. They enjoyed going to country music events and Linda also enjoyed listening to Elvis music. Linda was a wonderful cook who loved to host holidays and the best birthday parties. She loved to garden, growing beautiful flowers and lots of vegetables. Linda always prioritized her time to spend it with those who she loved most, her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dennis; daughters: Julie (Douglas) Bundy of Akron, IA, and Lori (Roger) Neyens of Le Mars; four grandchildren: Brandon Neyens (Ashton Roling), Ashley Neyens, Quinn Bundy, and Autumn Bundy; one great grandchild, baby girl Neyens due in May 2025; sister, Susan (Mark) Miller of Sioux Center, IA; siblings in law: Gerald Lubben of Remsen, IA, and Betty VanSickle of Le Mars; nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; parents in law, Albert and Emma (Frerichs) Lubben; sisters: Mary Sorgdrager and Connie Sorgdrager; and siblings in law: Ronald Lubben, Oral VanSickle, and Judy Lubben.
