Marita enjoyed her flower garden and decorating. She loved playing cards, music, and dancing. She always enjoyed staying busy and being with people, especially her family.

She will be greatly missed for all her generosity and kindness and being a gracious hostess for over 30 years of family reunions and memorable deck parties.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff (especially Ann, Courtney, Kelsey, Kacy, Megan, Kay, and Michelle) from Orange City Home Health & Hospice, who cared for Marita in her final days.

Add this prayer every day to your Morning Offering to keep this of Christ in others before your mind always:

O Lord, help me to live from day to day. In such a self-forgetful way, that even when I kneel to pray my prayer will be for others.

Help me in everything I do always to be sincere and true, and know that everything I do for You.

Must needs be done for others. And when my work on earth is done, and my new work in heaven's begun;

Even then let me forget to crown I've won, while thinking still of others.

"Others, Lord, others," let this my motto be, cause it's when I live for others, it's only then I live for Thee.

May the Heart of Christ love you.
