Marjorie "Marge" Hartman , 77, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society of Le Mars.

Celebration of Life Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. Reverend Jan Christensen from the Presbyterian United Church of Christ will officiate. Private family interment will be in Floyd Valley Cemetery – Melbourne, rural Merrill, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022, at the funeral home. Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa.

Marjorie Ann Miller, the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Hinken) Miller, was born on July 6, 1945 in Le Mars, Iowa. She attended school in Le Mars.

She was united in marriage to Daryl "Dinks" Hartman on May 8, 1971, in Le Mars, Iowa.

Early on, Marge worked for I.B.P. in Sioux City and later as a CNA at an area nursing home. She also worked for several years for Aalfs Manufacturing in Le Mars. Her greatest job was working as a caregiver for many people in Le Mars. Daryl passed away on June 23, 2006. Marge continued to make her home in Le Mars. For the past 3 years, she had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Society of Le Mars.

Marge had many joys in life, including sewing, quilting, baking. She made the best cream filled cupcakes and Christmas candy! She also enjoyed playing cards, especially canasta, with her brothers and sisters. She enjoyed playing bingo as well. She could often be found listening to Johnny Cash. Shopping was also on to-do list. Later in her life, she had an opportunity to visit Branson, Missouri as well as Colorado, two trips she loved. Most of all, she loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her 3 children: Janet (Matt) Fischer of Merrill, IA, Paul (Heidi) Hartman of Le Mars, IA, and Patty (Nick Merrill) DeVos of McAlester, OK; 6 grandchildren: Kimberly (Jake) Scheitler of Minnesota, and their children, Vivian and Eve; Sara (Alex) Singer of Sioux Falls, SD, and their son yet to be born; Brandon Fischer of Merrill, IA; Katelyn Hartman of Le Mars, IA; Nicole Hartman (fiancé, Lucas Hauser) of Le Mars, IA; and Evalie Merrill of Oklahoma; her siblings: Mary Kay Lean of St. Paul, MN, Don (Marlene) Miller of Le Mars, IA, Pat (Stan) Plueger of Le Mars, IA, Mike Miller of Dayton, OH, Annie (Bob) Sextro of Sioux City, IA, and Bill (Tammie) Miller of Le Mars, IA; two sisters in law: Norma Miller of Sioux City, IA, and Sheryl Miller of Akron, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daryl "Dinks" Hartman; three brothers: Tom Miller, Jim Miller, and Dave Miller; two sisters: Ginny Konz and LaVonne Meschke; her in laws: Francis Lean, Sue Miller, and Ray Meschke; a niece, Deb Miller; and a nephew, Gene Miller.
