Marjorie Jane Mc Carthy, the daughter of Daniel and Helen (Lamb) Mc Carthy, was born on February 4, 1929, in Jackson, Nebraska. She was raised in the Jackson, Nebraska area and graduated from Jackson Public High School.

On November 27, 1948, she was united in marriage to Vernon Loutsch at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jackson, Nebraska. They moved to his farm outside of Remsen and later moving to the Le Mars area where she began her life journey as a farm wife and mother of seven children. Vernon and Margie spent 74 years together before Vernon passed away on November 1, 2022.

Margie kept an organized house and was an excellent bookkeeper for Vernie's farming/livestock operation. In later years, she was a chauffeur for Vernon to go out to the farm. They enjoyed many social outings. She always stated that Vernie was the "best" dancer.

Margie was a lifetime member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Her life revolved around her family. One of the greatest gifts she instilled in her children was a "strong" Christian faith. She prayed for her family daily, she was their "Prayer Warrior."  Heaven gained a beautiful soul!!
