Mark A. Campbell, 65 of Le Mars, Iowa passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, April 6, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Croix Hospice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 at All Saints Parish – St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation with the family present will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all on Friday, April 10, 2026 at All Saints Parish – St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements are with Rexwinkel Funeral Home of Le Mars. Expressions of sympathy may be expressed to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com.
Mark Allen Campbell was born on December 17, 1960 in Le Mars, Iowa to Richard and Donnabelle (Weinrich) Campbell. He was raised on the family farm near Le Mars and graduated from Gehlen Catholic High School in 1979.
Mark began working for Wells Dairy in 1979 where he was currently employed for over 47 years. He primarily worked in the mixing department on the line and in pipe switching processes. Mark was a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and always dependable, known for his consistency and quiet commitment to his work.
Mark was an avid collector; he enjoyed going to antique stores, garage sales, hobby shows, and online shopping for any unique items of value. He had a special interest in coins, guns, art, crystals, and Coca Cola memorabilia. He loved a good deal and had the natural ability to gauge the value of items.
Mark enjoyed riding his Harley and going to the casino. He loved spending time with his friends, especially if they were watching and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Mark was a member of All Saints Parish in Le Mars.
Mark is survived by his siblings: Betty Donlin of Appleton, WI, JoAnn (Al) Miller of Independence, MO, Jeanette (Don) Peters of Benbrook, TX, Henry (Kay) Campbell of Le Mars, and Barb (Rick) Heffner of Le Mars; brother in law, Punk Steinfadt of Le Mars; children: Carrie (Gordon) Gill and their son, James of Le Mars, Ryan Campbell and his son, Ryker of Le Mars, Chris Campbell of Des Moines, IA, and Alex (fiancée, Mackenzie) Campbell of Le Mars; several nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Donnabelle Campbell; sisters: Doris Breshears and Diane Steinfadt; brother in law, Larry Donlin; and nephew, Corey Campbell.
