Mark Mayrose, 64, of Le Mars, Iowa, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at his home in Le Mars following a 12-year battle with cancer.

Memorial Service will be at 5 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. Reverend Jan Christensen from the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation with the family present will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home. He will always be remembered for how thoughtful and loving he was. He had quick wit, keen sense of humor and infectious laugh.

Survivors include his wife, Deb of Le Mars, IA; his siblings: Diane Kenowith of Sioux City, IA, David (Aleta) Mayrose of Keller, TX, Terry (DeEtta) Mayrose of Lincoln, NE, Rick (Anne) Mayrose of Georgetown, TN, Tom (Stacey) Mayrose of Windsor, CO, Michelle (Dan) Ryan of Le Mars, IA, and Kelli (Chad) Kramer of Le Mars, IA; his in laws, Gary Kallsen of Ames, IA, and Dennis (Cindy) Kallsen of Illinois; his faithful companion, "Maddie"; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis 'Fritz' and Helen (Reimers) Mayrose; his father and mother in law, Lloyd and Evelyn Kallsen; a stillborn son, Robert Mayrose; 2 sisters, Kay Mayrose and Kim Mayrose; brothers in law, Orville Kenowith and Pat Schorg; nephews, Jim Mayrose and Kent Mayrose; and his faithful companion, "Minnie".
