Max 'Buddy' Utesch III, 83, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at his home.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Brunsville, Iowa. Vicar Grace Baumgartel will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Brunsville. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the church. Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars.
