Michael Kroll, 59 of Chatsworth, Iowa passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Visitation with his family present will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron (601 Torbert Blvd). Social distancing and masks are required.

Michael Kroll, 59 of Chatsworth, Iowa passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron. Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com .
Michael Duane Kroll was born on May 7, 1960 in Le Mars, Iowa to Harry and Ruth (Kelsheimer) Kroll. He was raised on his family's farm in rural Westfield and attended school in Westfield. He began farming fulltime with his father before owning his own farm. In 1980, he moved to Lawton, Iowa and began working for Doyle Smith Farming. In 1990, he moved to Chatsworth and began working fulltime taking care of hog barns. In 2000 he retired due to his health.
Michael enjoying hunting and fishing. He had many different pets and small livestock over the years and he loved taking care of those animals. His favorite time was spent with his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his children: James (Rachel) Kroll of Beresford, SD, Ruth (Corey Clark) Kroll of Des Moines, IA, and Helen Kroll of Denison, IA; grandchildren: Gavin Kroll, Mason Kroll, Adrianne Kroll, Casper Clark, Kinlee Lopez and Haylee Lopez; siblings: Linda (Gary) Clark, and Marilyn Kroll, and Dennis Kroll; half-siblings: Larry and Karen; and many other extended relatives.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; infant sister Arlene; sister, Colleen; and brother, Harry Jr.
