Patricia 'Pat' Pratt, 90, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at The Methodist Church of Le Mars.  Pastor Jaime Farias will officiate.  Private family interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation with the family present will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday and following the service during a time of lunch and fellowship, all at the church.  Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com .

Patricia Ann McFarland, the daughter of Allen and Ellen (Morgan) McFarland was born on July 3, 1934 in Correctionville, Iowa at her grandparent's home. In her early years Pat attended schools in Cherokee, IA, Chicago, Rock Branch, and Elk Point, SD. She graduated from Le Mars Central High School in 1952 as a member of the National Honor Society.

On March 29, 1952 she married Robert Pratt at First Methodist Church in Le Mars. Upon his return from Korea, they farmed in the Kingsley and Grand Meadow area. They moved to Le Mars in 1964 and started R & A Fertilizer. Pat also worked at Dean's Stationery Store and did alternations for local dry cleaner stores.

Pat served as a leader of Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H clubs, and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She served for three years on the state board of the American Cancer Society. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and cross stitch. She and Bob enjoyed many camping trips to the Black Hills and spent many winters on South Padre Island, TX.

Pat is survived by her daughter in law, Sharon Pratt of Le Mars; two granddaughters: Alison Pratt (Tony Kilde) and their daughters: Reagan and Haisley, of Sioux Falls, SD, and Laura (Nick) Nicholson and their children: Ethan, Emma, Haley, and Madison of Le Mars, IA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob (2007); her children: Beth Hodgson (1974) and Allen 'Al' Pratt (2022); her parents, Allen and Ellen McFarland; and her parents in law, George Arthur and Mary Pratt.
