Patricia Kots, 77 of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Accura HealthCare in Le Mars, Iowa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at All Saints Parish – St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars with Father Doug Klein officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation with the family present will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the church on Tuesday. Arrangements are with Rexwinkel Funeral Home of Le Mars. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Midwest.

Patricia Ann Stoos was born on August 19, 1946 in New York City, New York to Paul and Phyllis (Reints) Stoos. Her family moved to Le Mars when she was four. She attended and graduated from Gehlen Catholic High School.

Patricia was united in marriage to Larry Kots on September 14, 1963. They lived in Minnesota and Orange City, Iowa before making their home in Le Mars. Pat worked a few various jobs over the years but primarily stayed home and raised their two children: Barbara and Michael.

Pat was a long-time member of All Saints Catholic Church in Le Mars. She enjoyed going for walks, riding her bicycle, and reading. She was a wonderful baker and enjoyed playing cards and having coffee with her friends. She was an avid collector of Boyd Bears and Victorian dolls. She loved spending time with her family. Their family spent several summers together camping throughout the Midwest.

Pat is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Barbara (Brian) Sanow of Remsen, Iowa; son, Michael Kots of Carroll, Iowa; grandchildren: Ben (Savana) Lehner, Branden (Nicole) Lehner, Zach Sanow, Matthew (Katie) Kots, and Matthan Kots; three great grandchildren: Roman, Aiden, and Rhett; siblings in law: Loren (Henny) Kots, Marion 'Butch' VanderLaan, Luann (Bob) Whittrock, and Lyle Kots; nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Phyllis (Reints) Stoos; parents in law, Lloyd and Lorraine (Boone) Kots; and sister, Linda VanderLaan.
