Paul D. Hinspeter, 71 of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at his home.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars with Reverend Bruce Lawler officiating. A Private Family Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Paul Duane Hinspeter was born on September 6, 1954 in Marcus, IA to Ronald and Francella (Swindle) Hinspeter. He was raised and attended school in Marcus. After high school graduation, he then continued his education at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa.

Paul worked a variety of jobs over the years and in the early 90's he started working for Diamond Vogel in Orange City.

Paul was united in marriage to Donna (Diediker) Miller on March 3, 1995 and they made their home in Le Mars. Paul then began working for Wells and retired after 21 years.

Paul enjoyed watching football and NASCAR races in his man cave in their basement. He enjoyed bird watching and set up several bird houses on their property. He took great care of their lawn and enjoyed tending to their flowers and vegetable garden. He loved a good bargain and enjoyed finding treasures at Goodwill. Paul loved his family and cherishing the love of his life, Donna.

Paul is survived by his wife of 30 year, Donna; two sons: Daniel (Selena) Christoffers and Michael Christoffers; three step children: Shannon (Susan) Miller, Amy (Jon) Bergquist and Kim (Pat) Mullally; sixteen grandchildren: Ryker Christoffers, Anika Christoffers, Michael Jr. Christoffers, Matthew Christoffers, Nathaniel Christoffers, Elaina Christoffers, Philip (Natalie) Gonzalez, Dominic Miller, Vincent Miller, Chris (Ashlee) Bergquist, Matt (Melissa Bubb) Bergquist, Alex Bergquist, Kendra (Ryan Jensen) Bergquist, Laura (Zach Johme) Burnett, Bailey Mullally, and Trevor Mullally; along with 17 great grandchildren; brother, Francis (Jane) Hinspeter; and other extended relatives.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Ron and Francella; parents in law, Don and Florence Diediker; and a son, Joe Christoffers.
