Randi Paul Davis , 53, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Celebration of Life will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars.  There will be military honors provided by the Wasmer American Legion Post 241 of Le Mars at 7:00 p.m. followed a by a time of memory sharing.  Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Randi Paul Davis was born September 30, 1968 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Robert and Janet (Tripp) Davis.  He grew up in South Sioux City, Nebraska, where he attended school and graduated from South Sioux City High School.

He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1988.  He served his country while stationed in Key West, Florida.  He was honorably discharged in 1992.

He returned to South Sioux City and went to work in maintenance at productions facilities.  He married Leslee Nixon and to this union, twin daughters were born, Logan and Jade.  The couple later divorced.

Randi continued working in maintenance, most notably with Wells Dairy in Le Mars.  For the past 20 years, Randi has made Le Mars his home.  For 11 of those years, he has been with the love of his life, Kimm Merritt.

Randi enjoyed vegetable gardening, fishing, and cooking.  He also enjoyed farm animals and doing DIY projects.

Survivors include his twin daughters: Logan Davis and Jade Davis, both of West Des Moines, IA; his significant other: Kimm Merritt of Le Mars, IA; 3 brothers: Rich (Kim) Davis of Akron, IA, Robert (Lisa) Davis of Beatrice, NE, and Ray (Tammy) Davis of Le Mars, IA; his aunt: Patti (Ron) Short of Blair, NE; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Janet Davis; and his brother: Russ Davis.
