Robert 'Bob' Woods, 65 of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Funeral Service will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars with Pastor Steven Broers officiating. Visitation with the family present will begin at 2:00 p.m. and continue until the service time on Sunday at the funeral home. Robert Alan Woods was born on August 23, 1960 in Le Mars, Iowa to James and Patricia (Barthole) Woods. He grew up on the family farm in rural Kingsley. He attended school in Kinsley and graduated from Kingsley High School in 1978. Bob helped on the farm and then went to work for Jolly Time Popcorn in Sioux City. Bob was united in marriage to Jodi (Jenness) Wielenga and they had one daughter, Katelyn. They later divorced.  In 1992, he began a 28-year career with Wells Blue Bunny in Le Mars. Bob was united in marriage to Donna (Hansen) Lamp on October 7, 2000 in Le Mars.

Bob enjoyed the outdoors, spending time fishing and hunting. He was an avid bowler, bowling in league and traveling across the US for bowling tournaments. He liked to play cards with his family, especially pinochle. He loved watching sports and was an Iowa Hawkeyes and Dallas Cowboys fan. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time at the casino and cutting firewood. Bob was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Bob is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Katelyn (Wayne) Thompson of Primghar; step children: John (Kathy) Lamp, Troy Lamp, Jeremy (Shanna) Turner, Brent (Trista) Lamp, Misty (LeRoy Essler) Oppedal, Jeremy (Melissa) Jensen, Jake (Jennie) Jensen, and Jessica Nipp; granddaughter, Ella Thompson; 26 step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; brothers: Michael (Donna) Woods and Charles 'Chuck' (Sis) Woods; uncle, Clayton Woods; nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents.
