Ruth Erma Nigg, 90 of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at her home in Le Mars, Iowa.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2020 at Hillside Cemetery in Merrill, Iowa. Rev. Dr. Michel O. Lundula of the United Methodist Church of Le Mars will officiate. Ruth Nigg was born on March 20, 1930 at Elizabeth's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Emil Moller and Verna Domanski.

She was united in marriage to Craig Nigg on August 28, 1949 in Glendale, California. She worked at a bank until Craig received his pharmacist degree.

Later they purchased a new pharmacy, Key Rexall Drug Store, in Newbury Park, California. Ruth was the bookkeeper since she was a successful bank trainer.

She also worked at the Reagan Library as tour guide, was a licensed Tax Preparer, and also sold real estate in California.

Ruth was very talented; she worked with stained glass and various other types of crafts. She loved to sing and dance.

She went to Germany with Travis' high school class. In April 1982, she traveled to Cairo, Egypt; Athens, Greece; Tiberius, Israel; and Jerusalem, Israel.

Survivors include her daughter, Danna (Dallas) Dreiling of Remsen, Iowa; her grandson, Keegan Robe of Council Bluffs, Iowa; nieces and nephews: Kathy (Raul) Moreno of Hacienda Heights, California, Darise Kiesendahl of Santa Clarita, California, Eric (Sallie) Nigg of Oregon, and Nancy Gran of Sioux City, Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Craig Nigg; her brother in law, Bruce (Rita) Nigg; her son, Garet Nigg; her daughter, Kerry Nigg; and grandson, Travis Nigg.
