Thomas R. Strub , 73, of Michigan City, Michigan formerly of Merrill, Iowa passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020.

Celebration of Life with memories and pictures at the Merrill Kissinger Center – Lower Level, 508 Main Street, Merrill, Iowa on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Local arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com .

Tom was born January 8, 1947 to Robert and Maryellen (Roerig) Strub.  He attended school in Le Mars and graduated from Le Mars Community Schools in 1965.  He was athletic and participated in multiple sports.  At the time of his death, he was living in Michigan.

He is survived by his wife, Katrina; his children: Maurae and Justin Grabeklis and granddaughter; a stepson, Jason; his siblings: Phil (Rita) Strub, Diane Strub, Julie Strub, Mark (Beth) Strub, and Jean Renken; his sisters in law: Barb Ratti and Marilyn Strickland Strub; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: David and Dean.
