Timothy Ross, 50, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars.

Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. There will be a time of Memory Sharing at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com.

Timothy Edward Ross, the son of Edward and Beverly (Howe) Ross, was born on September 29, 1975, in Cincinnati, Ohio. At a young age, he moved with his family to Arizona where attended school and graduated from high school. Following his schooling, he worked various jobs.

In 2006, he move to Remsen, Iowa, to be closer to his family. In 2007, he was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. In 2013, he moved to Eagle Grove, IA. In 2025, he moved to Floyd Valley Apartments in Le Mars.

He was a longtime fan of the Raiders football team. He also enjoyed fishing and having a beer. Watching stock car racing and dirt track racing was also an enjoyment for him.

Survivors include his brother, Michael Ross of Remsen, IA; his sister, Carol Ross of Bedford, IN; his stepdaughter, Sami Kist of Boone, IA; and his nieces and nephews: Miranda (Hunter) Konz, Victoria Ross, Dallas Ross, Katie Merryfield, and Beverly Pousson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his longtime partner, Teresa Choate.
